50 YEAR PIN-ENGRAVED "ILLINOIS, (ROMAN NUMERAL) XXXI"
MINE CUT DIAMONDS IN THE YEAR "50" (MISSING THREE)

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) or Odd Fellows is a non-political and non-sectarian fraternal order found in 1819. This very old late 1800's pin is a rare find. This pin is a 50 Year pin.  The decorative top portion of the pin (IOOF) has been tested as 14k yellow gold.  The bottom world globe and gold backing of the pin has been tested as 9K yellow gold.  The front world globe is domed with a blue enamel banner stating "Universal".  In addition, the globe is bordered in a wreath design with the three (3) joined loops at the bottom.  The number "50" above the globe is adorned with real mine cut diamonds.  Although, three (3) of these diamonds are missing. This is a rare find to own, wear or add to a collection.
