    Description

Great piece of New York history! This cream or milk pitcher features the well-known image of Bear Mountain Inn which was located in the 5,000 acre state park in Bear Mountain, New York. The inn was built in the 1920s and offered 150 rooms on Hessian Lake. It is still in existence today.
The pitcher stands just over 4 inches in height and was manufactured by Shenango in 1951 on their tan Inca-Ware body. The image of the inn is in darker brown and reads Bear Mountain Inn below. A matching brown stripe accents the body.
Very good condition with just a few chips on the dry foot, which appear to be done during the manufacturing process.
