    Description

    A lovely vintage Reed & Barton silver plated desk paperweight or ornament featuring the image of a reclining Retriever with his tail draped artfully over the edge of the plinth. The dog is beautifully modeled, with a lush medium length coat and an alert expression. We will let dog fanciers decide if this is a Golden Retriever or another breed. The piece is marked under the plinth "Mfd and plated by Reed & Barton 40". There are also some hand incised marks: TIE/H14. Measurements are 5 3/4" long by 2 1/4" wide by almost 2 1/2" tall.
