Description
Vanderbilt in New York City used this pickle dish, also called an ice cream shell, in one of its dining rooms. Very elegant piece made by Mayer China during the 1930s, according to the backstamp. Gold scroll accents and stripes with the V shield in the well. No chips or cracks. Very good condition with some slight wear to the gold. It measures approx. 8 by 4 inches.Thanks for looking!
