    Description

    In beautiful condition.  Stands 4 1/2" high.  Made by the Scammell Co. in Trenton, NJ and retailed through the Mitchell, Woodbury & Co. in Boston, Mass. for the Hotel Somerset.  The hotel was built in 1897.  It was renamed The Somerset sometime after WWII.  Famous celebrities such as The Beatles, Ronald Regan, Bette Davis, Ted Williams and Jimmy Hoffa, just to name a few, stayed there.
